Have Mercy Final Stage of painting (I think)

This is the last one, I noticed that the 57 Psalm was on her dress, that's when I knew the name of this story, Have Mercy. That Psalm is Be merciful unto me O God, for my soul trusteth in thee...

The lights in the city ended up looking like faces that needed help.

I can see where the story came from. It looks wonderful. I wonder why you didn't give this lady a face??? I know you've done them before, but do you still have some residual fear of drawing faces?

Now you know that we are in the same stage in our painting process, but when I saw this and read what it was about, I did not see the cityscape in the final painting and I did in the earlier stages. Could you draw in the horizon and the outline of the skyline? I think it would help give the city more definition and aid in the telling of your story.

Love what you are doing these days. Retirement is agreeing with you.
