Wonder filled Wednesday

This is a painting done by a wonder filled group of folk at First Congregational United Church of Christ. It was wonderful to see the amazement on the faces when the marks and paints flowed through all of us to create images as a worship experience.

Madonna of the Trees

A friend sent me the photo below that her husband took in Honduras. People paint images
of The Madonna on adobe in the trees. I just had to paint it. Sometimes paintings paint themselves
as this is an example of this.....leaving art for others and letting her weather and grow even
as the tree is dying. As my friend Sue said "sometimes I love humans."thank you.

Variations on this theme has been one of my best selling paintings.  We are all created in God's image, we are more alike than different. We have threads and colors than bind us together, inspire of ourselves.  We are embedded with the DNA of our creator.
